As more and more people are using a mobile device to surf the internet it is becoming not only important, BUT vital to have a mobile friendly website that your user can actually comprehend your content.
I would suggest that many internet users are not actually making that vital purchase on their mobile device, but they are most certainly doing their research on mobile devices. You can guarantee that the bedroom and the toilet are now havens of the mobile device.
I always have a saying as far as marketing goes, “if you make it to the toilet, you’ve made it”. Sounds crazy I know, but we all don’t mind a read in the toilet to fill in a bit of time; lets face it, when our head is clear we absorb much more content from the internet. Hence why the bedroom and the toilet are such popular locations for surfing the net.
This of course leads us to the topic of discussion, “what is a mobile friendly site”. Well there is a point of difference between a mobile site and a mobile friendly site. In short, and easy terms, a mobile friendly site is your main website run through some whizzbang software to re-format it to pop out in a nice and easy to read structure for a mobile device. Its as simple as that. The real cost of these sites is setup and hosting, that’s all. Not only easy, but cheap.
So whats stopping your business grasping the internet? well that’s easy YOU ARE! So get off your prehistoric behind and get on board. Whether you like it or not, this ship is sailing and you need to be on board, or get left way behind.
